The picnic tables need up keep, camp sites are poorly maintained. If it's raining out you are walking in mud and slim, because there are no gravel in the sites. Can't camp in groups like I remember when I was younger!

Nice campground with well-spaced sites. Most sites are pretty heavily wooded, so when you're ready to pack up and leave, don't expect the morning dampness on your tent to dry off quickly while you make breakfast.

Worst campground I've ever been to. Nothing to do and the beach is nasty. No game fish and racist people.

A buck will get you a token good for a five minute hot shower. The water heats up pretty fast (~30 sec).

Everything at my site was in good shape and I though I didn't meet the campground hosts, they do a good job of keeping the bath & shower buildings cleaned up.

We stayed in the rustic area of the campground. We had pretty much the whole section to ourselves. We were close to the pit toilets and running water which was very handy. The lightning bugs at night were so amazing and I loved the moss covered sites. Yes it can be a little muddy but we made a mat in front of our tent with dead leaves. I also caught a nice size pan fish down by the dock. Trees are very pretty and the Outboard bar is only two miles away and they have excellent food if you want a little a treat. We will be going back in the fall because I think the trees in the park will be very pretty.
